Privacy and document handling

Doc2Audio processes the files you upload to extract text and generate audio. You must have permission to upload and convert the material. Do not upload confidential material or sensitive personal information during this preview release.

When you request audio, the text is sent to OpenAI for adaptation and speech generation. AI narration may contain mistakes. Only request a preview or conversion if you agree to that processing.

No account is required. Your order link is a private access link: anyone who has it can access the order. Keep it private. Audio downloads use expiring links, and private order pages are excluded from indexing.

Unconverted documents expire after 24 hours. After a full conversion, the source upload is removed and audio expires after seven days. Expired source text and audio are removed by an hourly cleanup task. Limited operational records may remain for service maintenance and payment administration.

IP addresses are used temporarily to limit abuse. No advertising or analytics cookies are set by Doc2Audio. If checkout is enabled, Stripe processes the payment; card details are not stored by this application. An email delivery provider receives your email address when a completion link is sent.

This is a preview release. Paid checkout remains unavailable until the live payment, email delivery and operator contact information are configured.
